LSU, Coach O to part ways after the season per reports

The tenure for Coach Ed Orgeron is coming to an end, according to Ross Dellenger.
#LSU and Ed Orgeron have reached a separation agreement: He will not return in 2022 but expected to complete this season, sources tell @SINow.
Negotiations began last week before UF win.
It’s unprecedented in the sport – coach & school divorcing 21 months after winning it all.

Since winning the national title in 2019 it’s been a rough ending for Coach Orgeron. Coach O’s record is 9-8 since winning the title in 2019. Coach Orgeron has been the LSU coach since 2016, since taking over for then LSU coach Les Miles.
