LSU vs Kentucky preview

Kentucky is riding high, rightfully so. Last Saturday night Kentucky defeated Florida for the first time at home since 1986 and has the fanbase rabid. Schedule doesn’t get any easier as we move forward, Kentucky faces LSU Saturday followed by Georgia.

Staying focused is the key for this group especially after the Florida win. Kentucky can’t afford to have a letdown after an emotional win last week. LSU/Kentucky is slated for a 7:30 PM kick-off and can be seen on the SEC Network.

LSU comes in reeling at the moment. Coach O on the hotseat, key players out, it’s a mess let’s say. LSU is coming in desperate, hungry and just because LSU is struggling, doesn’t mean LSU is going to lay down and quit. QB, Max Johnson is third in the SEC with nearly 1,500 passing yards, his primary target Boutte ranks second in the league.

Kentucky’s defense will need another big performance. Kentucky will be without one of it’s key players in Marquan McCall on defense and Josh Ali on offense, Kentucky will need others to step up and make plays this week.

Another week, another chance for the fanbase to make a difference, last week Florida had 8 false start penalties.

On paper Kentucky has the edge, but LSU will come out swinging. Saturday can’t get here soon enough for a fanbase that’s on an emotional high. Kentucky is in a place it’s never been in quite some time and that’s gaining national attention.
