Ole Miss runs over Austin Peay

Lane Kiffin was welcomed back to the Ole Miss sideline and the Rebels ran away with this one 54-17.

The game was never in doubt as the Rebels offense and defense put the game away by halftime with the Rebels up 37-7 at the half. The Rebels rolled up 630 yards of offense and their defense held the Governors to 407 yards of offense as Austin Peay was forced to throw the ball early and often to try to keep pace with the Rebels.

The Rebels dominated every phase of the game, and they were never threatened. The Rebels will prepare this week for a visit by the Tulane Green Wave to Oxford in what could prove to be a high scoring affair as both teams have shown the ability to put up points against quality teams.
